Would you like to sing? Often thought about it but never actually taken the plunge? Romsey is an incredible singing town, if you are not already a member of one of the many choirs in Romsey then now is your chance to be a part of a new adult choir – ‘Romsey Voices’.
This new choir for men and women will take place on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9pm in Romsey Abbey School Music Room. Everyone is welcome, there are no auditions and it doesn’t matter if you can’t read music although anyone who can will be most welcome.
The music will be varied, songs from the shows – Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof etc as well as arrangements of popular songs. Who knows what we’ll end up doing along the line – it will be a fun musical journey.
The evening will take the format of 2 singing sessions with a social break in the middle. There will be a termly membership charge of £30 to cover costs. If you are interested please come along to the Abbey School hall on Wednesday 3rd June and give it a try ( as our first term will only be half a term the fee will be £15 ) please feel free to spread the word and invite anyone else who would like to come along, always fun to sing with a friend.
Singing is great fun and makes you feel good, singing with other people is very uplifting and everyone will be made to feel very welcome. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to contact me [email protected] – I’d love to hear from you
